My Next Arrow Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
My Next Arrow is developed by Javier Mozzicafreddo ("I"), Argentina, who is responsible for your data. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it is stored and how you can delete it.
1. Data stored only on your phone
Your practice sessions, arrow positions and scores, equipment and its photos, goals, achievements, names of guests you score in group practice, display name, language and theme are stored in the app on your phone. They are not sent to me or to any server unless you turn on the cloud backup (section 4). You can export them to a file or delete them at any time from Settings → Data.
2. Your account
- Anonymous by default: the app signs in anonymously with Firebase Authentication (Google), which creates a random identifier. No name, email or password is needed to use the app.
- Optional sign-in: to keep Premium and your cloud backup when you change phones, you can sign in with Google or Apple (your name, email and profile picture, as those services share them) or with a link sent to your email (your email only).
- Your plan: the date your free trial started, until when you are Premium and how (subscription or gift code), and a random identifier of the one phone where Premium is active.
3. Online features
- Competitions: the competition name, PIN and settings, your display name, your scores per end, a random device identifier and your account identifier are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Anyone with the competition PIN can see participants' names and scores.
- Suggestions: the text you send, the app language, the date, a random device identifier and your account identifier, plus my reply, which you see in the app's notifications. Only you and I can read them.
- Gift codes: which account redeemed a code and when.
- Current weather (optional): if you tap "Fill in current weather", the app asks for your phone's approximate location and sends it once to Open-Meteo to get the wind and temperature. Your location is not stored; only the weather values are saved with the session, on your phone.
4. Cloud backup (Premium)
With Premium or during the free trial, the app saves a compressed copy of your data once a day in Google Cloud Storage (United States). Only your account can read it. It is deleted 90 days after Premium ends, or 30 days after a trial ends without subscribing.
5. Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and charged by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). I never see your card or payment details. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt from the store and tells my server until when you are Premium.
6. What I don't do
No advertising, no analytics or tracking, and no selling or sharing of your data for marketing. The camera and your photos are used only when you add an equipment photo, and location only for the weather fill-in, never stored.
7. Service providers
Google Firebase (Google LLC: sign-in, database, storage, server functions and this website), Apple and Google (app stores and payments), RevenueCat (purchase receipts), Open-Meteo (weather) and Cloudflare (email). They may process data in the United States and other countries. See the Firebase privacy information, RevenueCat privacy policy and Open-Meteo terms.
8. Retention and deletion
Data on your phone stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app. You can delete your account and all its online data from the app (Your account → Delete account) or by writing to contact@mynextarrow.com; it is done within 30 days. Competition organizers can delete their competitions. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to the address below. If you live in Argentina, you can also contact the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, the authority for personal data protection (Law 25.326).
10. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
